Andrew is responsible to the trustees of Speyside Trust for implementation of policy and direction in the development of Badaguish. Using a number of EC funding programmes, his aim is to establish Badaguish as a national centre of excellence for special outdoor education and training.

As a trained countryside ranger, Andrew established Badaguish in 1980 as an equal opportunities project for access to the outdoors for disabled people. The Centre has since developed into a mainstream provider of training courses, accommodation and outdoor activity holidays, but as a charity has retained its focus on the voluntary care sector.

He is a trustee for the Scottish Consortium for Learning Disability with specific responsibility for their Leadership Training Programme.

Silvie has developed a programme of respite activity holidays, holiday play schemes and SQA accredited training courses, providing 400 places per year for people with a learning disability, locally, nationally and from across the Highlands.

A trained social worker with over 20 years experience in residential care and therapy for people with disabilities, she has also organised, designed, and delivered a variety of training to support front line workers in the voluntary care sector.

Silvie is an active member of many voluntary and statutory community organisations and is committed to the importance of family support and to giving people with a disability and their carers a choice.

Dylis returned to Badaguish in January 2007 after being away from the Centre for 3 years. She is usually your first point of contact when you telephone or email Badaguish.

Dylis is always pleased to give help and advice on your stay at Badaguish Centre and also what there is available to do and see in this beautiful area. Draw on Dylis's experience of walking, bird watching and generally enjoying what the Cairngorms National Park has to offer.

Angela grew up in the South and worked in the city for several years. She has lived in Speyside for 15 years, seeing her three sons through childhood and teens in the shadow of the Cairngorms. Angela has worked part time in local offices within the hospitality business for 12 years.

Joining Badaguish full time in July 2007 Angela now deals with bookings as well as carrying ou other general office dutites. Her hobbies include painting, cycling, swimming and the gym - including completing the Corrieyairack Challenge two years running! You will find Angela at Reception and more often than not, she will be the person who answers the phone.

Mike joined the team in 2004 and is responsible for the accounts function for the Centre.

He was born in Glasgow and as a student, spent many of his holidays working in this area. His varied career has seen him working in Aberdeen, Edinburgh and London, but he was delighted when the post at Badaguish allowed him to return to the Highlands.

Mike enjoys walking, photography, skiing and cycling, particularly on the Islands and West Coast of Scotland.

Craig is the newest member of the team at Badaguish. He was educated in Edinburgh and successfully gained a BA in Events Management before going on to complete a BSc in Sport and Recreation Management.

Having recently returned from a gap year which saw him travel through Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, The Polynesian Island and California, he is looking forward to working with the events team, supporting the current programme of events and helping to develop new ideas!

Craig lives near Inverness and is a keen rugby player having played at various levels for over 20 years!
